Vehicle Display

Vehicles may be displayed as part of your stand. An exhibitor who is planning to include a motor, electric or hybrid vehicle on their stand must notify the Organisers no later than 28 days prior to commencement of the exhibition. Please complete all the details in the link above.

Please contact GEL Events to organise delivery and collection time of the display vehicle at least 2 weeks prior to move-in, to ensure venue approval is received.

Machinery Within Exhibits

The operation or use of machinery, equipment, or substances likely to be hazardous to the health or safety of any person is restricted, and approval must be sought and gained from the venue prior to any activity taking place.

  • Machinery must be appropriately fitted with guards, fencing, locks, etc., to ensure a safe environment to all. Signage alone is not an acceptable method of protection.
  • The machinery or equipment must sit 0.5m into your stand. Depending on the demonstration a barrier must be installed around the equipment.
  • Persons operating equipment or machinery during an exhibition must have up to date training and hold the relevant certificate or licence as required by law to operate such equipment.
  • Persons operating equipment or machinery must be wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Noise Regulations

The maximum permissible total sound level in any area of the show is 82db (slow), measurable at a distance of three (3) metres from the source of the sound using a directional decibel meter.

Exhibitors showing films or creating excessive noise or using audio visual aids which disturbs adjacent exhibitors may be asked to cease such activities in the interest of the overall exhibition. Excessive noise deemed by the Organisers to cause a disturbance is not permitted. The Organiser shall be regarded as the sole arbiter in the case of dispute and Exhibitors shall follow the direction of the Organiser in the order to resolve any such dispute.
